Our Story

Hey, I’m Eva!

 

Born in Greece and raised in Germany, my love of food began in our family-run Greek restaurant, where I learned the value of authentic cooking, fresh ingredients, and warm hospitality.

My biggest inspiration has always been my Yiayias (grandmothers), whose traditional recipes and love for bringing people together around the table shaped the way I cook today.

 

In 2023, I moved to Scotland and realised that life in the corporate world wasn’t where my heart belonged. Instead, I followed my passion and founded Yiayias Little Kitchen in Inverness, with the dream of sharing the authentic flavours of Greece through the dishes I grew up enjoying with family and friends.

 

In 2026, my husband joined me on this journey, turning what started as a personal dream into a true family business. Together, we’re excited to take the next step and open Inverness’s first authentic Greek restaurant later this year, where we look forward to welcoming you with the same warmth and hospitality you’ll find in a traditional Greek home.

 

Whether you’re joining us for a quick takeaway, visiting one of our pop-ups, or dining with us in our soon opening new restaurant, we can’t wait to share a little taste of Greece with you.
